Our insurance agent called us ahead of time to let us know the company stated the current roof we had (rolled roof) was not acceptable, and we needed to fix it before our policy expired end of April. I then went on Yelp to find a roofing company for a quote and found Headed Home Roofing. BJ came out to assess our roof, and we explained the situation. He let us know that the current roof we had was still good, and offered to write something up for us to submit to the insurance company if that would help. We took him up on the offer, however, the insurance company stated that's still not acceptable. Now it is getting closer and I am STRESSING OUT! I contacted BJ and explained our dilemma, he was very understanding and said he'd check and get back to me. Jherard (owner) contacted me to let me know they had created an opening for us and could start the following week. We (ok, I) was pretty much jumping for joy, my stress was lessened just by knowing that. Next, Nani (Job Coordinator) contacted us to check what type of shingles we wanted. We are not knowledgeable on the products, and she suggested a very nice color, and informed us it's solar reflective (can be cooler) and that brand uses recycled material. YAY "go green and be cool at the same time" right Nani? :) Love it! The team was very polite, respectful, professional and did a GREAT job all around. We have only positive words for Jherard and his AWESOME team! One guy (sorry I didn't get his name) even let us know that if we ever think of installing PV, to let them know and they can come talk with us because it could affect the warranty on the roof. That is something I would've overlooked if we decided to install PV. They sent us pictures so we could send to our insurance agent to submit for us. Jobert came out later to do a quality check, to ensure the job was done well/correctly. Good to know they do quality checks! Glad to say we are still covered by insurance and have Jherard and his team to thank!!! We would DEFINITELY contact Jherard and his team again should we need any other roofing services. They went above and beyond our expectations! If we could give them 10+ stars, hands down they deserve it!!! THANK YOU AGAIN HEADED HOME!!
